Tessa listened to his words carefully as she walked a little behind him, "That's understandable." She nodded her approval of his words. "But why would they want you because of your grandfather? I'm thinking that you're two different people with two different minds, just like with most people."

Mark laughed a bit. "It's not his mind they care about. It's what he did, or had done to him," he said as he came to a stop. "He was the first and only man to have his dattoo removed and live through it. Not to mention... he started and led the first revolution. The one that failed twenty years ago."

Tessa looked at the man, "I remember that! Even though I was 8.... Well, I didn't know about the dattoo being removed, but I remember the revolution beginning. My dad was one of the ones who fought against the revolution...." She remained silent for a moment. "Anyway! What does that have to do with you? Those were his actions, not yours. Do they think that his mentality was transferred down to you and you'll start another revolution that may succeed where he failed?" she scoffed and looked away. "Rediculous..." she muttered.

Mark smiled as he saw the spark in her eyes and laughed a bit when she stopped herself from continuing. The police force was in her blood... "Haha, yes that would be ridiculous," he said as they continued to walk. "But the thing is that the scientist's that 'saved' my grandfather set off an emp so no one could stop him. Without the Dattoo it didn't effect him. They were killed and the information on how to remove Dattoos died with them. Except that they had it stored it on the USB they used to remove the Dattoo. My Grandfather hid it before he was later captured and the revolution ended. Among others, the reason the revolution wants me is because I'm the only one who can get to that USB."

Tessa stared at him as he spoke then looked down at her feet. "So... They want to remove their dattoos so that the government doesn't have any say in their lives?" she spoke to herself, under her breath. She looked up at him quickly and hoped that he hadn't heard her words. "Why is it that you know where it is and no one else? You said he hid it and I'm assuming that it's where no one can find it."

Mark sighed. "He did hide it. And left a parchment to the kid of a friend of his that detailed its whereabouts. He told them that I would be the only one able to find it. It's coded with old stories he used to tell me and sayings and the like. It was written for the purpose of me finding it out," he said as they turned a corner. "And, there's a lot more that you don't know about the Dattoos. A lot that so many don't know. But that's all for later. Here, if we are going to continue, I need to shut off your Datoo's GPS. It's the only way we'll get in," he said as they came upon an abandoned building.

Tessa followed the man around the corner and stopped when he told her to turn off her GPS. "Excuse me sir, I don't even know your name and you want me to turn off my GPS and follow you into a creepy building. That doesn't sound shady at all." Tessa looked at him, then she blushed, "Or are you planning something different?" She began to back away.

Mark laughed at the idea. "Listen. Don't turn it off for all I care. But we are going to the Underground. and you can't come in if your Dattoo's GPS is on. And if you somehow do, well they'll certainly kill you," he said as he flicked his wrist. The tool set unfolded underneath and a thin metal pole began to glow blue and spun around under his wrist. After a second it shut off and the tool set retracted. It had turned off his GPS. He took one last look at her and walked away.

Tessa stared after him warily and sent a mental command to her dattoo to turn off the GPS. A small green light on the dattoo vanished, showing that it was off. She walked after him quickly, "I still didn't get a name."

Mark shook his head as she turned off her Dattoo's GPS. "No, I don't mean "turn it off". I mean literally, TURN IT OFF. Like I said before, there's a lot about the Dattoo you don't know. When you do that, your GPS is still on. Maybe your boss can't see where you're at anymore, but if they're pay grade is high enough, they'll know. You have to disable it." He took a step closer to her and flexed his wrist. The thin metal pipe popped out again and began to spin, glowing blue. He held it over her hand and after a few seconds the light turned back on, turned red, and then vanished. "And the name is Mark."

Tessa watched as the man disabled her GPS. 'Holy shit... I don't wanna know what else he can do...' she thought. She looked up and him as he said his name, "Hmm... Mark... I was thinking that it would be something more along the lines of James or Damian. Something badass. But Mark.... Are you sure it's not Marcus?" She raised an eyebrow at him. "Either way, you still haven't asked for my name."

Mark laughed at her comment. "It's not the name that defines us, but what we do that defines our names," he smiled as they walked into the abandoned building. "You can call me Marcus if you'd really like though," he said as she walked in behind him. "And I assumed that if you really wanted to, you'd just tell me your name Tessa." He walked over to the far wall and knocked on it to the tune of "We Will Rock You" another thing that had died long ago. A platform in the floor opened in a small circle and a pole slowly rose up from the ground. An arm rest extended out and Mark placed his arm on it. Robotic arms with glowing blue heads came out and began to encircle his arm. After a few moments the robotic arms retracted and the arm rest flashed green. "NEXT..." A robotic voice whispered.

Tessa stopped and stared at him, "How do you know my name?" She continued to watch him as the arms surrounded his dattoo and a light flashed. When the voice said "NEXT" she didn't move.

Mark looked at her, "If I told you that, then where would the mystery be?" he asked as he waved his hand towards the device. Of course he had gathered it when he had disabled her GPS through the cereal number. "It will check to make sure that the GPS is disabled. Then it will let us in," he said, putting a reassuring hand to her back.

Tessa jumped forward as Mark touched her. "AH! Don't. Do. That." she glared at him, "I am extremely ticklish." After a moment of making sure he wouldn't try to touch her again, she moved closer to the device and, hesitantly, rested her arm inside it. The robotic arms immediately began to surround her arm. After what seemed like forever to Tessa, the green light flashed and she removed her arm. "Happy now?"
